These terms cover your use of Cook Out Games, whether you play in a web browser or through the Android app. By playing, you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
Cook Out Games is a free set of card and domino games for playing with friends. There are no accounts and no sign-up. You open it, pick a game, and play.
Nothing in Cook Out Games costs money today. There is no purchase, no subscription, and no in-app currency.
There are no cash-prize contests and no wagering of any kind. You cannot bet, stake, buy in, or cash out. Scores and leaderboard positions are for bragging rights only and have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for anything of value, and cannot be transferred.
If paid features are ever added, they will be described clearly at the time and these terms will be updated before they go live.
Please use the games as intended. Do not:
Table codes are short by design so they are easy to share out loud. Treat one like an invitation: anyone who has it can join that table. Share it only with people you want at your table.
The names other players choose are their own. We do not review display names before they appear, and we are not responsible for what another player types. If something on the public leaderboard is abusive, tell us and we will remove it.
This is a small service run by one person. It may be unavailable, slow, or interrupted, and games in progress can be lost during an outage, a deploy, or a problem at our hosting provider. Features may change or be removed. We do not promise any particular uptime, and we may modify or discontinue the service at any time.
Cook Out Games is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that game data will be preserved.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, game progress, or goodwill, arising out of your use of Cook Out Games. Because the service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to zero dollars — the amount you paid for it.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You can stop using Cook Out Games at any time by closing it or uninstalling the app. We may suspend or block access that breaks these terms or that harms the service or other players.
The Cook Out Games name, artwork, and software belong to their owner. The underlying games — dominoes, spades, bid whist — are traditional games that belong to everyone; nothing here claims ownership of the rules of a card game.
What the app does with information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them and the updated version is published at this address. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
